Coco and Jayda in studio.

The best part of my job is getting to work with incredible agency talent. Every time we get an assignment or a concept we pull it together and get it done. Often we have never worked together before but after a quick intro and orientation, we get to work. This is the result, a certain kind of magic happens and we share the result with you.

Coco and Jayda haven’t worked together before and I am really happy with the result.

Creative Direction and Photography, yours truly.

Turning a page.

This is work I created a while ago, when I first had the tingling to do editorial photography. These images were inside of me waiting to come out for a long time and some that are similar have found their way into every shoot of mine since then. I just haven’t been posting them.

I have been afraid of change but also so inspired by it too, kind of torn in two and then murals became something for me too. I have always had aspirations of seeing my work big. At first, I was thinking that it would be really big portraits printed and made into light boxes and exhibited at a gallery. That dream is still in the cue, for now, I have found a way to make that dream come true with murals.

I had the opportunity to create a few so far and am so looking forward to making more www.freeadmission.ca

I invite you to come along on this journey with me, as my world turns and the butterflies churn.

At any age.

Worked with an amazing friend who just happens to be a model this past week in the studio with another friend who is an amazing make-up artist. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing women. I know I am overusing the word amazing but it is truly how I feel.

Deb Braun and Maxine Munson I am so grateful to have you both in my life.

We wanted to do a creative photoshoot that featured something out of the ordinary that we don’t see very often. We are now seeing more diversity in campaigns but we are still a far stretch from where we need to be. This series is a way to pave that road and the three of us all contributed to creating these images which is another way to give a nod to where we want to see the industry go. We want to see and feel the intention and collaboration in the creation. I hope you can see and feel that with this series.

A photo a day, my photography project from 2021

I took my camera with me every day in 2021 and I still do.

I have been working more on intention, thinking about it and moving through the urge to just hammer away at the shutter button. This project is helped me see differently and is still helping me do that.

I am also reading a book Freeman Patterson wrote. I found it at the Goodwill for .50. Freeman is all about seeing the world differently through your lens.

Things are changing around here and I am so happy to have you along for the ride.

Mind blown, two images published on the same day.

Vogue Italia accepted both of my submissions this Monday and I think you may still be able to hear me squealing with glee.

The squeal is the fact that the model, Saina is wearing my designs. Yes, you read that right so she is wearing my continuous line illustrations, transferred on to thrifted clothing. I style all of my shoots and this one, I had this in mind and I choose these images specifically to post to Vogue. Every Monday morning I submit two images to a portal on Vogue and now I have a portfolio up there.

Pinch me.
