I spotted Felix and knew I wanted to push to publish this spread, and Beautica Mag was happy to make that dream come true. It meant allowing a new model and a student to see their work in print. TaDa! I love connecting the dots and showing people the way, it’s why we are here.

Hello and welcome to 2024. I am a little late with my greetings because I took a bit of time before the hustle and bustle of the year began to just sit still for a while and relax.
I have been wanting to work with Kobi for a minute and my dream finally came true so being patient does pay off. So does taking some time to rest too. We created this spread in my home studio with natural light. I styled the shoot and Kobi brought his personality and lots of stories from his recent adventures.

Every time I shoot I submit it for publication and there’s a platform that makes it so easy to do that.
It’s called Kavyar and I owe it all of my publication success over the past few years. Before that, we used to keep a manual list, a spreadsheet as it were and send out submissions in a very clunky way with loose ends left untied and credits you forgot. Once the submission was out there you would cross your fingers and hope for the best.
Kavyar makes it so easy and I love it.

We shot on my rooftop and had to climb out of my kitchen window to get access, shhh, don’t tell anyone. Ethan is so fun to work with and brought a lot of the wardrobe we used for the shoot, I of course mixed in some of my wardrobe too. Overall the results are #Gold.

Well hello, it’s been a minute since I published an editorial and I am glad to be back with one. I took some time in the fall to relax and give my schedule a bit of a break and I am so glad I did. The rest was worth it and it’s good to be back.
In this editorial we have John from Hometeam Models published in Selin Magazine Issue 34 Vol 52. You can get your copy here, the spread is called In the Fall. Not just the season but the one we seem to all find ourselves in.
Monika and I had this shoot in our pockets for a couple of months and we waited for the perfect day. We finally got it. We made our way out to Wreck Beach and got to work. The ocean was lively that day and the tide came in quickly and kind of cut our time short. We intend to go back again.
