You guessed it, markets, they are fun and who knew you would like coming out to them as much as I like hosting you.

Thanks so much for all of the support you have shown me, knowing my merch is out in the world instead of floating around in my closet brings me a lot of joy.

Now let’s get to the details Knox Church is hosting a fab event August 27th 5600 Balaclava Street in
Vancouver. You can follow them on Insta to find out more about this amazing event. I am featured in their promo, with my red hair.

Lot 19 Market, August 18, swing by and say Hi!

Hello, how is everyone doing during these crazy weather days?

I never thought I would be a part of the market circuit but guess what, I am and it is all happening so easily that I have decided to roll with it for a while.

I will be at the Lot 19 Market on Thursday, August 18th all day long, swing by and say Hi.

Lot 19 is located at 855 West Hastings Street. There will be a heap of local artists, so feel free to swing by to say Hi.

I will have my up-cycled clothing and denim featuring my designs and embroidery along with stickers and buttons.

Vancouver Mural Festival Block Party, this weekend!

Vancouver Mural Festival is hosting a mini-market this weekend at Main and 5th, just behind the hotel.

Guess who will be there as a vendor with her merch on Sunday 10-3? Me!

Want to know what I will have there? Stop by and see me in person, the rest of the summer I will be selling in person only so keep an eye on my blog for my pop-up information. There are three more to go over the next few months. Keep an eye on my Instagram too, there will be information popping up in my stories.

I will have up-cycled clothing featuring my illustrations, pins, stickers and goody bags too.

Square payment is available.

This block party is featuring one of the biggest mural projects the festival has created to date.

You can find out more about it here

Popping Up

Wow, I had my first official pop-up market last Sunday and am now in 3 more this summer.

I am so impressed with my interactions with everyone that I want to do this again, and again!

It sure beats tailgating on the yard sales in my neighbourhood and popping up at the beach or on the sidewalk. Having an organized venue and event is the bee’s knees and I’m smitten!

Starting with June 26 at the Vancouver Mural Festival.

The next one is the Wayfarer Market and a group design show at a Gallery.

I will definitely be sharing all of the details here. I would love to see your face so please stop by.

Strip payment is available and everything is $25 or 2 for $40 with a variety of pins and stickers too.

A mural for the BCSPCA

I reached out to my local Facebook group in August of 2021.

Here is the post;

Hello.

I am a mural artist who is building my portfolio.

I want to offer two murals, one to a business owner and one to a resident here in this group with no fee attached.

I do line work from photos.

I can take the photo or you can provide one.

I have created a 5 panel mural for Gordon House and painted a mural on a container during Lumiere this year.

I want to add more murals to my portfolio.

I am double vacc'd and will wear a mask while I am working.

A mural takes a few hours to create and then paint so it could take up to two days depending on the size of your wall and what you would like me to paint.

I would project a 4x6 photograph onto the chosen wall, trace out the shapes and then paint them.

The result was one neighbour responding who works at the SPCA. I was delighted because I love animals. I finally got to complete the mural eight months later, after having many restrictions for COVID, a fire and well basically anything else you could imagine. I got to paint it and I am thrilled.

This process and the success of this project coming to light is truly a testament that follow-up works.

So whatever it is that you have your eye on, keep at it and don’t take No for an answer.
