For the first time, in more than I can really ever remember I created an editorial.

With a model/friend I have worked with over the past few years and who I make magic with every time we meet and take photos. We kind of have an affinity for each other because of the magic we create during shoots.

Lori is a musician and she knows what she likes, we talk about a lot of different things and she is also smart as a whip. I’m so honoured to call her a friend and I am totally in love with the work we make when we are together.

I shot her twice over the lockdown and this is the third one, and this one is the best of the 3.

I have missed this so much, missed making the kind of images that began my illustration. I have been romanced by the images in my editorials and I used lines to connect my love of art to the shapes in my photographs.

This is all very cheesy and ooey-gooey, but its how I feel, and I can’t help but turn back to that passion as we figure out our brave new world. This has been a part of my world for over 5 years now and I’m not going to let it go.
